Hello, my name is Manuel Baylon, I am a licensed roofing contractor LIC#1098858, based in Redwood City and serving the peninsula and wider Bay Area. Here is a brief story about my expertise in residential roofing- I started as a 'helper' on the roofing crew back in 2003, here in Redwood City on jobs in Hillsborough, Woodside, Portola Valley, Menlo Park, Palo Alto and other cities. I dedicated my time on the crew to assist with all roofing tasks. Starting out in the industry, I quickly advanced upwards. By 2010 I was leading the crew myself, and have been a dedicated leader and expert ever since. I wanted to know the underlying reason why a leak was happening, I wanted to know about different ways of installing the roof material. I have a calm but intense focus on details. I learned about all the different types of roof materials and I loved learning about all roof products like metal, shake, slate, tile, torch, and new techniques. I also love looking for the best way to get the job done to ensure that it is done in an organized way: I look for efficiency and 'clean and secure lines' during the course of work and of course in the final product. I also dove directly into all areas relating to gutters and downspouts, and can confidently craft beautiful custom downspouts and gutters needed for your home. My dedication to excellence means that as I assess a roof and work through a job I am constantly thinking 2 to 3 steps ahead: as I conduct repairs I do everything I can to prevent future problems from happening. 

I earned my roofing license and opened Andes Roofing Corp in 2023.
